Travelling Vietnam Memorial Wall
The Mid-South Veterans’ League is proudly hosting the Travelling Vietnam Memorial in Lakeland August 23rd-25th. More details on exact location and times to follow. This is a travelling replica of the very moving Vietnam War Memorial in Washington and all should come and experience it locally if you get the chance.
Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall Fundraiser
Hosted by Memphis Veterans’ League and Meddlesome Brewing Company, come help us raise money to bring a very moving replica of the actual Vietnam War Memorial in Washington D.C. to the mid-south. Post 292 Auxiliary Yard Sale
Help our BRAND NEW American Legion Post 292 Auxiliary raise funds to get truly started! We will be located at 55 Arborlon Cv. in Oakland, TN from 8-3 on Saturday, June 1st.

Fayette Ware NJROTC Drill Competition
One and all are invited to the 1st Annual NJROTC Wildcat Drill Competition hosted by the Fayette Ware NJROTC. Come see some up and coming students compete in 9 different categories of military drill. 5 separate school teams will be competing for the title!

Come visit us at Oakland’s annual Spring Fest! Post 292 is accepting new members and will be available to discuss our Post and what the American Legion can offer.
Oakland Parks and Recreation Concession Stand
Join American Legion Post 292 and the Oakland, TN Parks and Recreation Department as we support this year’s inaugural games at 25 Whispering Creek Dr. just off Hwy. 194 South of West Junior High School in Oakland. Good snacks going to a good cause supporting our youth sports and Veterans’ services.

Partnering with Pastor James Spight, we fully support and invite anyone in need of food to come let us rescue you by way of providing you a meal.
